Caring For the Abandoned
This partner cares for 1200 orphans in a remote region of their country. The ministry was started by a man who was abandoned as a child himself at the age of 6, and over the years he grew up to become one the of most successful business men of his nation. During his middle age years God called him to give back to the children who had been abandoned like he had been, and he started what is today one of the most fruitful ministries in the country. Over the last 35 years they have cared for 40,000 children and orphans, and they have poured their lives in to meeting the needs of many orphans.
The founder’s God given entrepreneurial skills are guiding them to become a largely self sustained ministry. They have massive income generating programs which provide both for the children, and the surrounding communities, as well as other locations throughout their country. They have large agricultural projects with many acres of greenhouses where they grow food for the children and and export and sell food as well. They have poultry farms with temperature controlled chicken houses with 140,000 chicks that they grow and export, providing for the children and the overall needs of the ministry.
The children are well taken care of in a highly organized, caring and loving Christian atmosphere. Christ is the center of this ministry. Their level of perfection in ministry is nothing short of a miracle. The founder readily and humbly admits that God has done it all. God has given us the privilege to join in with what He is doing to help many orphans through our trusted partner.
