Our Mission is to serve God and mankind by ministering to both spiritual and physical needs throughout the world in the name of Jesus Christ. Our desire is to minister to the whole person, just as Christ did 2,000 years ago. He healed the sick, fed the hungry and preached and taught the gospel. We believe our mission is to go and do likewise.
Christian - At the core of Hope Universal we desire to be “Christlike” in word and deed.
Servant Leadership - Jesus Christ set the example of serving selflessly for others and showed the world that even a king can be a servant, therefore servant leadership is one of the things we strive for and seek to teach others by our example and through our words. Christ did both.
Crossing racial and social divides - “For God so loved the world that He gave His Son...” God’s heart is to reach past racial and social divides imposed by man. Therefore, our heart is to reach the entire world, which includes every race and tribe at every social level, with the good news that Jesus Christ gives eternal life as well as abundant life on earth.
Healing the body, soul and Spirit of Mankind - Jesus Christ fed the hungry, healed the sick and taught and preached he Kingdom of God to the multitudes. He was the first to use the “holistic” approach in ministry. How can we improve on the Master’s method? Therefore, it is not a novel method or an optional method, but rather the only method for us to follow. We seek to minister to the whole person; body, soul and spirit.
