Hope Universal has conducted medical clinics for the last 5 years in Sierra Leone, and has more recently  been conducting clinics in Liberia, as well as supporting an indigenous medical mission group in India. We have seen tremendous results from these clinics, witnessing the transformation of villages through acts of kindness and teaching from the word of God.

     One example of this is found in a Muslim village in Sierra Leone. Several years ago we conducted a medical clinic in this village, and during the clinic the village chief was treated for a physical problem he had. He was so touched by this help that he donated land for a church and school to be built in the village. We have followed up with more clinics in this village, and this past year the chief donated more land for a permanent medical clinic, a church building, and anything else relating to Christian activities. This Muslim chief and village were obviously moved by these acts of kindness.

     I John 3:18 reads, “Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue, but with actions and truth.” This verse is central to why we not only speak God’s word, but also demonstrate His love.

    There are many more testimonies of how God has opened the hearts of communities through acts of kindness, in Africa and Asia as well, therefore we hope to expand this arm of ministry in the future and reach more people with God’s love.
